Nearly 40 people came to the first ever Book Trailer Screening Party at Blue Valley on July 31st! Submitters, their families and friends all came together to watch the book trailers on the big screen. Authors and judges Elizabeth C. Bunce, Jennifer Brown, and Brent Crawford were also in attendance to present awards, talk about their books and show their own book trailers.
So who were our winners?
Our official judge-selected winning trailer was Dreamhouse Kings by Renee and Jacob.
The author-judges each selected one trailer as their personal favorite. The makers of those trailers received a signed copy of that judge's book.
Elizabeth C. Bunce chose Jessica's Before I Fall.
Jennifer Brown chose Grace's Little Town on the Prairie.
Brent Crawford chose Hailey's Blue is for Nightmares.
The attendees at the Book Trailer Screening Party were able to vote for a People's Choice winner. It was close, but the winner was again Hailey's Blue is for Nightmares.
