It's a dark and stormy night...
The Maltese Falcon has been stolen... can you solve the mystery? In the spring of 2008, teens ages 12-18 were invited to create a short film in the noir style using The Maltese Falcon, the book/movie selected for 2008's Big Read, as inspiration.
The winners received $100 for first place and $50 each for second and third place. TimeWarner Cable gave each of the top three finalists a copy of The Maltese Falcon movie on DVD and aired the winning films on TimeWarner channel 113, KC On Demand!
