The Summer Reading program for teens 13-19 is all online! Follow these easy steps to get signed up to win awesome prizes throughout the summer!

Direct your web browser to www.goodreads.com.

Or use your existing Facebook/Twitter/Google account to sign up!

Friend the Library by visiting www.goodreads.com/jocoteens and clicking “add as a friend.”

And you're done! Now just add the books you read this summer to goodreads®, so we know how many books you've read.

adding books

Search for a book you just finished, using either title or author.

Hold your cursor over “add to my books” and select “read” if you have already finished the book, “currently reading” if you are still reading, or “to-read” if it is something you want to read in the future.

You can select a rating for the book between one and five stars. Use the shelves to sort between genres and add a review if you want to share your opinion with friends. Click "save" to put the book on your shelf for all your friends to see!

Start adding the books you have already read and those on your to-read list! Write reviews for a better chance to win prizes.

Throughout the summer, look for messages from Johnson County Library to find about special opportunities to win even more cool prizes!

Choose with whom to share your e-mail address.

Choose with whom you can communicate through goodreads®.

If you are concerned about being friended by strangers, you can create a challenge question that only people who know you could answer.
