Nomination Critera:Anyone was able to nominate books/authors/characters for a boscar from May 25th-August 2nd, 2010. All nominations were seconded by a member of the Young Adult Advisory Council. Anyone can join YAAC, all you have to do is come to a meeting and you too can second nominations.

Voting: Final voting was available online from October 1st-November 30, 2010.

Requirements: Books/characters/authors that are nominated for a Boscar have to meet certain critera:

  • They can be published anytime
  • They must be published for teens (check the publisher name inside the book most of them say "teen")
  • If a book/character/author wins in a certain category they cannot win in that category ever again. However they can be nominated for several awards in one year, and being nominated in 2010 does not disqualify them from being nominated in 2011 (assuming they didn't win in 2010).
