Tohru Honda, a high school freshman, is orphaned and homeless until she's taken in by the Sohma family in exchange for household chores. Everything's great until she discovers the Sohma family's greatest secret: when hugged by members of the opposite sex, they each turn into their Chinese Zodiac animal.
